CHOOSE YOUR CHURCH EXPERIENCE

We know you have options on how to spend your Sundays. Kids sports, family obligations or just a need for some down-time can make it hard to choose church. It shouldn't be that hard - so we've been livestreaming our services since before the pandemic!  You will feel right at home no matter which way you choose to participate.

Check out our children and family ministries and other ways to deepen your connection to the church below!

KIDS - ONLINE AND IN-PERSON

At FPCC, Sunday School (for ages 3 to 8th grade) is one of our highest priorities! We believe in raising up the next generation of leaders - instilling kindness, caring and love for one another and all of God's creation!  Our Sunday School children and parents alike develop support networks and lasting friendships!

Sunday School generally runs from September to June, and takes a break over the summer to give our staff and volunteers a rest. The kids start out in the Sanctuary with their parents, and after the Children's Message - which is a special time during the Service set aside just for kids - they scamper off to their Sunday School room. There, they will learn about God's love for them in an age-appropriate manner through songs, games and crafts.

For those with infants, there is a crib room available just behind the main sanctuary on the right hand side, equipped with rocking chairs and a changing table.  Once we emerge from the pandemic, Nursery care for  infants to 2  year-olds will be offered again.

Music FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we found ways to keep the music playing!  We owe a debt of gratitude to our Director of Music, Elsa Hahn, and our organist Bob Grube, who, along with other volunteer musicians, stepped up to provide music in a time when it wasn't safe to sing in groups.  As we begin to emerge, our choirs are starting up and we invite all musicians of any ability to join in!

Our adult choir sings most Sundays and is perhaps the heaviest commitment.  Our children's and handbell choirs perform approximately once per month.

We hope that everyone can find their place and calling in their relationship with Christ and the church. Our goal is to give people of all ages and seasons of life a chance to find the group, Bible study, ministry, and mission to help them as they continue on their faith journey.

Adult Spiritual Growth opportunities encourage faith formation, fellowship and enrichment. These include "Bible Explorers" Bible Study, Book Groups, Women's and Men's-only groups such as Presbyterian Women and Men's Prayer Breakfast, and opportunities to serve those in need.

You can join us in our Facebook Group too!
